Swipe on. Slip in. Forget your feet.
Blisstick leaves a light, sweat-resistant glide layer on your skin so shoes, straps and seams slide past instead of rubbing you raw. Heels, toes, thighs: anywhere that rubs.
- Helps stop blisters before they start
- Light, non-sticky glide that stays put
- Pocket-size stick, no mess on your hands
If you nodded at any of these, we made this for you.
You pack flats in your bag because your nice shoes give out by 9 p.m.
Bandages peel off within the hour and end up balled in the toe of your shoe.
New shoes mean a week of limping while you wait for them to break in.
Your inner thighs burn by lunchtime on warm days in a dress or shorts.
You've walked barefoot to the car after a wedding. More than once.
Long shifts on your feet leave the backs of your heels raw by the end of the week.
It's not your shoes, and it's not you. It's friction plus sweat, and that part is fixable.
See why blisters really happenWhy blisters really happen
A blister isn't bad luck or weak skin. It's three things stacking up on the same spot, step after step.
-
Friction
Every step, your shoe rubs the same patch of skin back and forth, over and over.
-
Moisture
Sweat softens skin and makes it tacky, so the shoe drags it along instead of sliding past.
-
Shear
The top layer of skin is pulled one way while the layer below stays put. They separate, and fluid fills the gap.
- 1. Sweat makes skin grip the shoe lining
- 2. The top layer gets dragged along with every step
- 3. Fluid fills the gap underneath. That's a blister.
- 1. A slick film lets the shoe glide instead of grab
- 2. Less drag on the top layer, so it stays put
Less grip, not more padding.
Blisstick leaves a light, sweat-resistant film on your skin. Your shoe slides over that spot instead of grabbing and dragging it, so there's less of the friction and shear that blisters need.

If it rubs, swipe it.
Feet are where most people start, but anywhere skin meets a seam, a strap or other skin can use a glide layer.
The back-of-heel rub
The classic blister spot. Swipe along the back of your heel and up the sides, where the shoe grips with every step.
Breaking in new shoes? Swipe here before every wear.
Little toes and toe knuckles
Narrow toe boxes press and rub the tops and sides of your toes. Swipe over them, and between them if they rub each other.
Pointed flats and heels are the usual suspects.
Ball of the foot
Heels and sandals let your foot slide forward, so the ball of your foot rubs against the sole. A swipe here helps it slide smoothly.
Pair with a cushioned insole if pressure is the bigger issue.
Inner thighs
Skin-on-skin rubbing on warm days in dresses, skirts and shorts. A swipe on each inner thigh helps them glide past each other.
Re-swipe after a long walk or a hot commute.
Underarms and sleeve seams
Where arms swing against seams and sleeves, on runs, hikes and long hot days.
Apply to clean, dry skin.
Bra line and straps
Bands, underwire and strap edges that dig and rub. Swipe along the skin where they sit.
Handy under sports bras on workout days.
Sandal straps and toe posts
Straps and toe posts rub the same spot all day. Swipe wherever they sit before you head out.
Cover the whole strap line, not just one spot.
Three steps. Zero fuss.
-
Step 1: Swipe
Glide the stick a few times over anywhere that rubs: heels, toes, thighs or straps.
-
Step 2: Slip in
Put your shoes on straight away. There's nothing to wait for and nothing on your fingers.
-
Step 3: Touch up
Long day or lots of walking? Swipe again whenever you take a break.
Good to know
- Apply before you feel rubbing, not after.
- Don't apply to broken, blistered or irritated skin.
- New to it? Try a small patch of skin first.
Stop patching. Start gliding.

Questions, answered.
How does Blisstick help prevent blisters?
Blisters form when friction and sweat drag the top layer of skin away from the layer beneath it. Blisstick leaves a slick, sweat-resistant film on your skin, so shoes and seams glide over it instead of gripping. Less drag means less of the rubbing that leads to blisters and chafing.
Where can I use it?
Anywhere that rubs: heels, toes, the balls of your feet, inner thighs, underarms, along your bra line and under sandal straps.
How often should I reapply?
It depends on your day. If you're walking a lot, sweating or it's hot out, swipe again when you take a break or as soon as you notice any rubbing.
Can I use it on a blister I already have?
No. Don't apply Blisstick to broken, blistered or irritated skin. Use it on healthy, unbroken skin to help stop rubbing before it starts. If a blister is very painful or looks infected, speak to a pharmacist or doctor.
What's in it?
Six ingredients: Mineral Oil, Beeswax, Petrolatum, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil and Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil. There's no added fragrance. If you're allergic to any of these, please don't use it.
Your favorite shoes, minus the ouch.
